 De uit Dublin afkomstige formatie Westlife is een boyband uit het boekje. Geheel in de traditie van boybands als Take That en Boyzone braken de 6 jongens uit Ierland door met de superhit "Flying Without Wings". Deze kwam met superstip direct binnen op nummer 1. Een knappe prestatie die ze nog eens dunnetjes overdeden met de tweede single "Seasons in the Sun" en "Swear It Again". Het kon dan ook niet uitblijven dat hun debuutalbum "Westlife" binnen no-time de status platina bereikte in hun geboorteland Ierland. OMG, look at this. I totally freaked when I saw it in the store and I secretly took a picture of it to show you guys. I was looking for a schooldiary ([tl: agenda] this afternoon and I was skipping through the top 10 agenda when I saw the page. At first I was soo glad they had put Westlife in it, cause they aren't that popular anymore, but then I read the text. I can't believe how many crap they're telling in it. 1. Westlife is from Dublin??? Excuse me, but there were only 2 members from Dublin and now only one. So they're not from Dublin. 2. 6 boys??? When Westlife released FWW there were 5 of them, not 6. And Westlife started out as a five-piece. 3. Their first single was not Flying Without Wings, as "Seasons in the Sun" and "Swear It Again" are not their second single. That's complete bullsh*t. After all the crap, there's one (or two) good things. 1. Westlife is in it!!! 2. I love the picture. ;D So I won't sue them... yet. I'll leave that to the boys. |
